Students in Montgomery County from Sunrise MoCo will be leading a rally for climate change on August 26th at 11am in Rockville by the Executive Building at 101 Monroe St. If you’re a student, you can sign up to attend so you can receive SSL hours.
This is a student-led action and we are focusing on pressuring our county council to do more after declaring a climate emergency all the way back in 2017. We want to march and encourage folks to come join us in our fight for giving people rent relief, helping with our climate emergency, prioritizing BIPOC community’s, tacking CRO problems, and essentially everything else that is interconnected!
